Pattern : Firstly, a pattern exist because of a problem. Pattern is a general reusable solution to a commonly occurring problem within a given context.It is a model for how to solve a problem that can be used in many different situations. Pattern is mainly meant for reusability.
As an example consider a simple switch which we use normally to turn the light on and to turn the light off. But the same idea can be used with any other devices.(cpu,remote controls.)
Architecture: Architecture is the process of planning,designing and finally executing it to get a well defined Structure. It is method or style of creating a structure.
